Alright, I know there is already a thread here about banned sigs, but I feel I must make my own thread. I find it humorous that I had to find out from another member who's sig was also banned.
First off, I was under the distinct impression that CC2 (that's chickencharms2, just so you know) had gotten permission from a Level A Mod to keep the minis in our sig. There are no links. It's not clickable. It does not promote one site over another. It's a stupid mini. And, I only had ONE in my sig.
Now, here's where Thuggy comes in and says it's been in the rules ever since when, and he posts a link for all to see. And no, I'm not making fun of you Thuggy, I know you're just doing your part to help out. But, regardless of that, if we were given permission to use them, then the courteous thing to do would be to email us all and request that we take them down or risk having our sigs banned. I mean, someone took the time to go through all our sigs to ban them, would it have been that much harder to send an email saying "Take your minis off or get banned"? Hell, I would have done it for you just to make sure nobody got screwed.
Now, I'm not one to bring stuff up like this, but I have done quite a lot for this site. Helping in the GFX Forum, answering questions for people and trying to make good threads to keep this place going ... and this is how I'm repaid? I have always been a faithful member here and have never caused any kind of trouble. I just don't understand the mode of thinking around here sometimes.
So, can I have my sig back now? I'll take the mini off, if that's what it takes.
