new forum idea

k,well for anyones thats been in the graphics forum lately nkows that I've made a renders thread were people get to post,and use renders other people have made(im pretty sure you know were im going with this)
so i think we should just a renders forum,it would be easier to navigate instead of going through 100 pages of renders to find 1 specific one that you want,plues people can comment on them and give some tips.

gfx tutorials/help
I've made a gfx tutorial or 2 and i could try to get this forum started with a few good tutorials(as soon as i can find a good upload site).plus for the gfx noobs they can ask how so and so dose a banner and maybe get some tips on hot to do stuff.

these are all just ideas,but if we could give it a try,ill put my time into it and try to get these forums off the ground and make WA a little more GFX oriented.

Well I don't care what happens, but this probably will be hard to pass. I mean there is a GFX Forum and all, so to the admins, there is no point in making a forum based on this.

I heard there were plans earilier on a new forum like this,but never whent through,so i just want to see if its risen to badroses attention that these new forum ideas could bring in better gfx people.

plus do you really think that people will look through 100 pages of renders in 1 thread to get what they want? no.be easier to navagate if they each had there own thread with a description on the title.

You have to realize that if every person were to get thier forum idea approved that WA would be extremely scattered. One reason the music forum and entertainment forums merged was just because of that. Fear WA would become scattered and it would be hard to navigate. Also another reason for the merge is because the 2 topics are very similar and just like in your case your 2 topics are also very similar. Besides renders is to vague of a subject and it would only be limited to a few posts in a entire forum. Needless to say why i think a whole nother forum for this would not be a good idea.

well dont look at it as a whole other forum,we could just make it another section of the forum to add to our gfx section.i think we are lacking in good gfx people and doing some stuff like this would really rally some more people in.
i dont know how many times i gotta say this,but having a forum for gfx n00bs who want to get started and want to know how so-and-so gos about creating his work would help out many up-and-comers.along with a forum of renders people wont have to look to far for some good cuts.so to me,these 2 forum ideas just go hand and hand.

lol just create a whole new site for WA GFX. If you really want to run a whole GFX community. Talk to Badrose...

Ok i have an opinion and i Need to speak it..I do agree with |TheMan|..Im a noob gfx maker and i need help..Also i've seen hundreds of forums and websites with them on them and there big help and succeses on there sites..I personally think if there is one on here lots of people would be very happy cause photoshop isnt the easyest thing to learn and im still having trouble and I think it could help alot of people..Or maybe you can sticky it in the Graphics forum or something but If you guys think im the only person or something who is having trouble Lots of people need help and when people ask for PS help they put it in the Graphics forum for help with PS and they get tolled to ask in the Q&A and thats not much of a help to the person cause they just get links to sites for help..And for me i hate the links cause they dont give the basics and i think it would benafite if there were a discussion or something in there..If you think im crazy or its not possible ok then but im just sayin that it's a great idea and hell i need help and that would help more then some dumb links..Also even some experenced Photoshop users can get help too

also,since you think the the ideas are the same,what about the celeberty and divas forum? those are the same,why dont we just merge those then?

They arent that alike at all....Is it really that hard to understand if every1 got their idea approved for thier forum ideas we would have a how to brush your teeth section of WA. Celebrities and divas is a pretty broad subject just along with the reast of the forums WRESTLING,OFF TOPIC, ENTERTAINMENT. there all broad and it gives you a lot of topics which you can post on. Now putting renders and tuts into a forum thats a very vague area and it is limited to only a few things, but this is all nonsense because you are too stubborn to realize this, so you want this forum talk to badrose simple as that no need to reply to this

theman i like your idea btw but this forum doesnt have enough gfx members for that tto work.i see it on alot of other forums with many talented gfx artists.but if you look at our gfx section its basically a request zone with a few noobs making 'ratings' ovcoarse there are exceptions like u,bramha,ecw-rvd,myself(occasionally) and a few others.
look at the gfx battle forum for ex. not alot happening in there.
you mentioned a renders forum.again would be a good idea if it where more popular.look at the renders post you made.it has only 2 pages in like what 2weeks maybe.if it had past 5pages and was alot more cluttered then yeah but it doesnt seem to clutered right now.
same said for the help thread there isnt alot of posting there either.

those are just my opinions on it i think the gfx forum is fine as it is for now.unless it drastically increases in members in the future then that is always a plan.but not for now okay.
